Green Chemistry, Built For Your Needs

Partner With Us To Develop Safer, Smarter Products

Solving Challenges Through Contract Invention

Our contract invention model is built to solve real-world challenges at the molecular level. By combining green chemistry with deep technical insight, we co-develop functional, sustainable, and cost-effective innovations with our partners — from early discovery to prototype.

Contract Invention

Technology Greenhouse addresses technical challenges associated with transforming processes, products, and technologies. Led by Dr. John Warner, co-founder of Green Chemistry, our unique solutions improve functionality, increase efficiency, and boost profitability by applying novel approaches grounded in the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry.

We form long-term, exclusive partnerships across a variety of industries to collaboratively develop intellectual property. Our goal is to identify novel molecular interactions that lead to valuable IP opportunities for our clients. We design chemical systems with targeted intermolecular interactions and provide de-risked prototypes that operate within each partner’s manufacturable boundaries.

Rather than replicate internal capabilities, our model builds on the client’s deep understanding of their own technology. Together, we redefine questions and uncover unprecedented answers. Our process is not incremental — it is adaptive and transformative, delivering systems that align with both sustainability goals and business objectives.

Technology Greenhouse 3-Phase Invention Program

Phase 1 – Parameterization - Technology Greenhouse receives initial information, standard materials, and test procedures to: Map structure–function relationships, deliver novel, intuitive solution models, and evaluate feasibility of early-stage targets

Timeline: 4 months (variable depending on scope and resources)

Deliverables:
– Structure–function landscape
– New solution models and feasibility demonstration
– Written report forming the basis of a provisional patent application

Decision:
– Monthly reviews
– Go/no-go decision at the end of Phase 1

Phase 2 – Integration - Bollowing Phase 1, we work with the client to define a full program plan. This phase explores performance characteristics and generates solid leads for full patent development.

Timeline: 4 months (variable)

Deliverables:
– Prototype leads that meet lab performance criteria
– Written report supporting a full patent application

Decision:
– Monthly reviews
– Go/no-go decision at the end of Phase 2

Phase 3 – Optimization - We collaborate on process and product refinement to enable scale-up and strengthen the intellectual property position.

Timeline: 4 months (variable)

Deliverables:
– De-risked prototypes advanced to pilot and field/plant testing
